Members of the Petaluma Garden Club spent an afternoon on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, decorating their float for this year’s Butter & Egg Days parade. The group has won the “golden hammer” for best float three times -- including last year, when they were honored as the parade marshals. CRISSY PASCUAL/PETALUMA VOICE ©2026

When asked how many plastic flowers it takes to decorate their float, one member of the Petaluma Garden Club said, "Oh my, there must be thousands of flowers on there! Thousands!"
