Scene & Herd: Disaster prep and hot rods
At the city council meeting on Monday, a proclamation declaring the month of September as National Preparedness Month in Petaluma was presented to members of One Petaluma, the Neighborhood Resilience Group, Rebuilding Together Petaluma, and KPCA 103.3 FM.
With the goal to be prepared for emergencies including wildfire, flooding, and earthquakes, first responders and several city departments collaborate with these community partners to take action in advance.
