Our nation recently celebrated its 250th birthday with a bang. In Petaluma, the fireworks show delighted crowds all over town. Local photographer and Petaluma native, Frank Blue, took dazzling photos of the grand finale showing the old Shamrock Concrete Factory in the foreground, on Saturday, July 4, 2026. On Sunday, July 5th, Penngrove's "biggest little parade" had marchers walking or riding down Main Street in various tractors, trucks and cars with people – and dogs – showing their patriotic pride.
