Re-Fresh Friday: June 5, 2026

New subscribers and loyal readers, thank you. And welcome, all, to our second Re-Fresh Friday newsletter. We publish weekly on Wednesdays, but sometimes you'll see us in your inbox on other days with brand-new content and reminders about past stories.

Today we've got three timely news stories that couldn't wait until next week.

First, read our preview of next Monday's jam-packed city council meeting.

Next, we've got a dispatch on a Japanese delegation's recent educational visit to Shollenberger Park and the Ellis Creek Water Recycling Facility.
